Centennial Yard, Fort Worth

Texas & Pacific constructed Centennial Yard as a hump yard on a green field site in 1971. MoPac rebuilt it in 1978, from the original two-hump design to a single hump classification yard, with 8 receiving tracks, a 44 track bowl, and 12 departure tracks. The yard can handle 1,200 to 1,500 cars per day over the hump. The yard is now UP's primary classification yard in north Texas.
