Oklahoma City to Winfield

From the passenger station (platform on the west side, depot at a lower level) on the concrete embankment at Oklahoma City (MP 384.0), where the line is double track, ABS, Rule 94 (Yard Limits?), speed limit 20 mph, it continues north, past the former location of an erstwhile connector from the Rock Island trailing in from the east, the Oklahoma City Yard on the east side, Nowers (MP 380.6), where the line edges just west of due north, single track, CTC, resumes, and the speed limit rises to 45 mph, MP 378.6, where the speed limit rises to 55 mph, a detector at MP 377.8, a speed restriction of 40 mph on curves between MP 377.4 and MP 377.1, where the line turns north-northeast, a speed restriction of 50 mph on the grade crossings between  between MP 377.1 and MP 374.6, the 8,029 ft. siding at Britton (MP 376.8), a 983 ft. spur at Cain's Coffee (MP 373.9), an 11,024 ft. spur at Ralston Purina Lead (Dereco, MP 373.0), a 756 ft. spur at Leonhardt Spur (MP 372.9), and a 464 ft. spur at Central Fixtures Spur (MP 372.5).

The line turns just east of due north, past a speed restriction of 45 mph on the crossings between MP 370.4 and MP 369.7, the 7,041 ft. siding at Edmond (MP 370.1), a turn just west of due north, Waterloo, a detector at MP 367.6, the 710 ft. Pipe Yard Team Track (MP 366.7), a turn to the north, where an erstwhile Oklahoma Railway line once crossed, a turn northeast, the 9,735 ft. siding at Seward (MP 360.1), a detector at MP 358.9, a turn east-northeast and then just east of due north, a turn north-northeast, a speed restriction of 50 mph on the crossings between MP 352.9 and MP 352.4, and on the curves between MP 352.7 and MP 351.9, and the 14,725 ft. siding at Guthrie (MP 352.6), where the erstwhile St. Louis, El Reno & Western once trailed in from the west, an erstwhile Rock Island line once trailed in from the east, an erstwhile Santa Fe branch once headed away northwest and another once headed away northeast a bit further north.

There is a speed restriction of 45 mph on curves between MP 351.8 and MP 351.7, the 8,915 ft. siding at Lawrie (MP 347.2), a detector at MP 341.5, a turn just east of due north, the 10,149 ft. siding at Mulhall (MP 338.8), Orlando, the 8,563 ft. siding at Asp (MP 328.4), a speed restriction of 50 mph on crossings between MP 321.7 and MP 320.8 as the line turns northeast and a former Frisco line comes alongside to the west, the 3,624 ft. south siding and 5,515 ft. north siding at Perry (MP 321.6), where the former Frisco line moves away again, a detector at MP 317.5, the flat crossing with the former Frisco at Black Bear (MP 316.3), 50 mph on the crossing, a turn north-northeast, the 7,993 ft. siding at Otoe (MP 312.7), a turn to the north, a 34.141 ft. spur trailing in from the Oklahoma Gas & Electric Sooner Power Plant, on the east side at OG&E Sooner Spur (MP 306.2), and the 7,447 ft. siding at Red Rock (MP 306.8).

There is a detector at MP 304.4, a turn to the north-northeast, the 8,616 ft. siding at Marland (MP 300.3), where an erstwhile Santa Fe branch once headed west, a detector at MP 293.8, a turn to the north, White Eagle, a former wye on the west side with an erstwhile Rock Island line heading west, a turn just east of due north, a speed restriction of 40 mph on crossings between MP 290.8 and MP 288.4, a speed restriction of 45 mph on curves between MP 290.6 and MP 290.4, the 32,442 ft. siding at Ponca City (MP 288.9), where an erstwhile Santa Fe branch once headed west at a former wye, a speed restriction of 30 mph on crossings between MP 288.4 and MP 288.3, a speed restriction of 40 mph on crossings between MP 288.3 and MP 287.3, a speed restriction of 50 mph on curves between MP 287.9 and MP 287.7, a speed restriction of 50 mph on crossings between MP 287.3 and MP 287.2, a turn north-northeast and then north again at a 1,984 ft. spur at Kildare Coop Spur (MP 281.2), a detector at MP 279.0, a speed restriction of 45 mph on crossings between MP 276.0 and MP 275.4, and the 12,185 ft. siding at Newkirk (MP 275.8), where an erstwhile Santa Fe line once trailed in from the southeast.

The line turns just east of due north, past a detector at MP 270.8, the Oklahoma-Kansas State Line, a speed restriction of 50 mph between MP 266.2 and MP 265.3, a speed restriction of 30 mph on curves between MP 265.0 and MP 264.4, a bridge over the Arkansas River, a flat crossing with a former Santa Fe branch line headed west, of which just a short spur remains, where there were also erstwhile MoPac and Midland Valley lines, at ATSF Xing (MP 264.2), 30 mph on the crossing, which has connectors in the northeast and northwest quadrants, a speed restriction of 20 mph on curves between MP 264.2 and MP 263.2, MP 264.1, where the speed limit falls to 20 mph, the 9,900 ft. south siding and 7,000 ft. north siding at Arkansas City (MP 263.4), MP 262.9, where the speed limit rises to 55 mph, with a 50 mph speed restriction on curves between MP 262.9 and MP 262.7, a speed restriction of 40 mph on curves between MP 261.2 and MP 259.7, the 8,023 ft. siding at Hackney (MP 256.1), a speed restriction of 30 mph on curves between MP 253.6 and MP 247.5, northeast past a detector at MP 253.0 and then north-northwest, past a former crossing with an erstwhile Frisco line at Winfield (MP 250.8) to WN Junction (MP 249.7), where South Kansas & Oklahoma lines head east and west, an erstwhile MoPac line once crossed on the flat, the former Santa Fe line to Augusta, on the Transcon, heads north, and the former Santa Fe line to Mulvane, Wichita and Newton heads north-northwest.
