South Denver to Walnut Street (Rio Grande)

From the crossovers at South Denver (MP 3.6), where the 3MT on the main line drop to 2MT, CTC, the speed limit drops to 30 mph, the Burnham Industrial Lead separates from those 2MT on their east side, Yard Limits, 10 mph, heading north-northwest, running alongside the Denver light rail line for awhile, past 4th Avenue Yard (MP 2.4), which curves around to just east of due north, and SPís ex-D&RGW Burnham Shops & Yard (MP 2.0), now owned by UP, of course, turning north-northwest again, past the location where the Denver & Intermountain interurban once crossed on the flat and tracks to the south end of Denver Union Station once turned away north-northeast, to Walnut Street (MP 0.0), where it trails back into the east side of the Joint Line heading north-northeast.
