East Norwood to Evendale

From East Norwood (MP 11.1), where a connector was built from the former B&O line for the former PRR when Union Station opened, heading northeast to connect to PRR's former Chicago line access from its original downtown station at the east end of downtown, now owned or operated by Norfolk Southern and/or Indiana & Ohio Railway, and used to connect to the original N&W line heading east from the city, the single track, Automatic Block Signals, Traffic Control line, maximum speed 25 mph,  heads past, West Norwood (MP 10.6), where there is a wye, with the east leg heading for West Oakley (MP10.1) on the original PRR line and the west leg heading fro the former PRR Chicago line (now used by NS beyond Mill), heading west-northwest, single track, CTC, maximum speed 35 mph, past CP East Oakley (MP 10.6), west apex of the wye with the line from West Oakley,

The line passes beneath the ex-PRR Lebanon line, and turns just north of due west, where a recent connector from that line trails in on the west/south side, past the McCullough Lead (MP 10.9) and the 6,550 ft. controlled siding at CP Norwood Heights (MP 11.7), turning just west of due north and then just east of due north, past the Cross-County Highway bridging overhead, a grade crossing with Galbraith Road, CP Amber (MP 13.7), a yard on the west side at Reading, and acute angle grade crossing with Reading Road, to MP 16.1, where a connector on the west side leads up to the NS Dayton District (former Big Four, later Conrail Cincinnati Line), which then bridges overhead, and CP-Mill (MP 16.4), where a connector on the west side (15 mph on the connector), comes from CP 248 on that line.
