Canton Junction to Attleboro

From the junction with the Stoughton Branch on the east side, and MBTA passenger station with two side platforms and an island platform between the diverging lines, at Canton Junction (MP 213.9), where the main line turns south-southwest and the passenger speed limit drops to 80 mph on Canton Junction Viaduct, CETC, 25 kV overhead electrification, past MP 213.0, where the speed limits change to 95/45 on Track 1 and 95/50 on Track 2, a road bridge overhead, the MBTA passenger station, with two side platforms and brick depot to the east, at Sharon (MP 210.0), where the freight speed limit drops to 25 mph, a bridge over and angled road, MP 208.0, where the freight speed limit rises to 50 mph, signals, a bridge over a road, MP 205.0, where the passenger speed limit rises to 100 mph,  the junction with the Framingham Secondary Track trailing in on the west side.

There is an MBTA passenger station with two side platforms at Mansfield (MP 204.1), detectors at "Hunt", signals, a wooded area, a road bridge overhead, a street alongside to the east, MP 200.0, where the speed limits change to 95/45 on Track 1 and 100/45 on Track 2, signals, a bridge over a road, signals, a former industrial spur to the east, a street briefly alongside to the east, a bridge over a divided road, a road bridge overhead, crossovers at Holden (MP 198.0), where the number of tracks increases to three, the freight speed limit drops to 25 mph, and the passenger speed limit on Track 4 is 60 mph, a road bridge overhead, the junction where the Middlesboro Secondary Track trails in on the east side, and the MBTA passenger station with two side platforms at Attleboro (MP 197.0), where the number of tracks increases to four, the freight speeds on Tracks 1 and 2 revert to 45 mph, the speed limit on Track 3 is 30 mph and the freight speed limit on Track 4 becomes 40 mph.
