Corbin to Harbell

From the terminal complex at Corbin (MP 172.0), where  the KD subdivision continues south, there are both east and west yards (parallel) and a locomotive shop opened in 1986, the CV subdivision turns away east, past signals at MP 172.x, Siler (MP 175.0) and Grays, south-southeast past Rossland, east again past Arkle (MP 179.9), an arch bridge over a road in a brick viaduct and a stretch where a previous line has been relocated, turning south at Baileys (MP 185.1) to Heidrick (MP 186.8), where that relocation ends and a branch tails in from the north-northeast. The line continues south past Barbourville (MP 189.9) to Barbourville Siding, where it turns east-southeast to Artemus, a location where a branch once headed away south, east-northeast to Ada Tipple, where there is a conveyor overhead and a road alongside to the south, east-southeast past Himyar and Flat Lick, south past Elys, where a spur trails in from Jellico, KY, to the northeast, and Dunley (MP 198.7), where a spur trails in from Ruby to the southwest, east and then south again past Four Mile, east again past Wallsend to Pineville (MP 202.9), where the Straight Creek Branch to the Shamrock Coal Prep Plant heads away east, south past Paulson, where a branch to Jellico, TN, once headed west-southwest, and southeast to Harbell (MP 205.7), where a line to Cumberland Gap departs to the south and the main line turns east to head for Loyall and Harlan Junction.
